Accounting Liaison - Confidential - Los Angeles CA

The world's leading full service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an Accounting Liaison who will be responsible for managing the daily cash cycle for a particular department of the company.

Specific responsibilities will include:
? Developing excellent rapport with the departments, which will require developing a thorough understanding of all relevant aspects of the department's business
? Meeting at least weekly with the department to review the status of and resolve any issues in the department's cash cycle
? Managing the department's daily cash cycle, including:
? Ensuring the creation and completeness of project bookings by the department's agents
? Generating clear and concise weekly invoices for the department's clients
? Managing the department's client payments (trust) in a timely and accurate fashion
? Managing the department's Accounts Receivable, including working with agents to collect aged amounts
? Obtaining authorization to pay any department-specific invoices
? Administering credit and collections for the department, where appropriate

Qualifications should include:
Previous cash management/treasury experience
Familiarity with using IT systems for cash management/treasury. Familiarity with AX preferred
Excellent personal presentation/strong communication skills
Entrepreneurial nature and demonstrated ability to work independently
Strong interest in learning the operations of the entertainment industry
BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Economics required
