Peres: Israel shouldn't force workers to retire at official pension age

He pays way too much attention to defending Israel. And makes Israel looks, instead of stronger, somewhat childish. I'd rather have him play instead of a visible role, more of a stuard who is consulted in quiet behind the scene by youth. No need to blind people with shining armor, when you can lit up the whole skies to see new stars on Israel's horizon. Besides, it somewhat magnifies his own errors. And dealing with those becomes huge political issue with nobody taking on liability, instead of what it should be, moundain cost / benefit analysis. I am shy of saying it looks pathetic, but it gets dangerously close enough to want Mr. Peres take less gang ho position at the table. Perhaps what is truly pathetic is how feeble and error averse Israeli younger generation of politicians grew up to be. They better learn from Mr. Peres and fast. By that measure Mr. Peres is the youngest of them all.
